10-Year-Old Makes the Catch of a Lifetime in Hampton, New Hampshire
I am not a fisherwoman myself but I know many folks who are fond of the sport!
There is something relaxing but also thrilling about casting your pole into the water and not knowing what the day will bring you. Will you get zero bites and leave feeling like a big ol' loser? I mean, maybe! But a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work. I think I saw that on a coffee mug one time.
There is also always that possibility that you will make the catch of a lifetime. A catch so big, so groundbreaking, that you take out the measuring tape so you can get your story straight when you brag about it for years to come. But as the years go on, the fish might grow a few inches as the story evolves. Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.
New Hampshire Fish and Game wanted to spread the good word about a young angler who lives among us!

10-year-old Jackson just made the catch of a lifetime off the Hampton shore and reeled in a 46 .5" striped bass
Here's the photo to prove it:
The young fisherman is being praised in the comments for making a catch of this magnitude in general and also for not harming the bass and releasing it back into the wild. Not only is he talented, he's also humane.
A few commentors suggested that Jackson's fishing career is peaking early and this will be the biggest fish he ever catches. Respectfully, I think he's just getting started!
