Families all Over New England are Traveling to This New Multimillion Dollar Park in Massachusetts
Never did I think the day would come where you would need to reserve a parking spot at a kids' playground...but here we are. It is happening.
Some playgrounds are worth the trip. Sure, you can get your slide and swing playground in most areas in New England, but some playgrounds are worth the extra 20-30 minutes drive.
Best Playground in Massachusetts, 200 Trapelo Road
200 Trapelo Road Playground in Waltham, Massachusetts, has been going viral in New England for enormous wait times just to park at the playground.
To put the playground into perspective, there are 100 parking spaces at this new, multimillion-dollar park, and that is not nearly enough. What is crazy is that NBC10Boston interviewed park goers who waited massive wait times, and most said the park was worth it.
The new park at 200 Trapelo Road in Waltham, MA has a lot to offer. Obviously, there are swings and slides for the little ones. And most of that section of the park has large green shade nets, so the kids won't get burned.
There is a splash pad, which is perfect for beating the summer heat. But perhaps the cherry on top is the mini-golf course.
It was brilliant...and questionable to put all of these features in the same location. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the most epic playgrounds ever built...but because the park offers so much, kids and families of all ages and living residences are traveling to this epic playground.
To book your parking passes (required in advance) and to check out more info on this park, check out the City of Waltham website.
