What a rollercoaster of emotions beer lovers in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, must be going through.

Just before the start of 2025, Earth Eagle Brewings announced they were closing its Portsmouth, NH, location while keeping its Somersworth location running.

Beer lovers in Portsmouth were devastated. Earth Eagle, like many breweries in our area, was a hidden gem. It wasn't flashy, not directly downtown, and had a secret feel to it.

Operating since 2012, Earth Eagle was Portsmouth's oldest operating brewery...until they announced they were closing.

WELL, THEY ARE NOT.

I know this is all very confusing - hang in there.

Earth Eagle Brewery, Portsmouth, New Hampshire

According to the Earth Eagle Brewings website, Portsmouth's hidden beer garden is opening back up for summer 2025.

The only reason I found out was because they posted on their social media that they were hiring full-time and part-time bartenders for the summer.

So if you, or someone you know, is looking for a summer gig - email alex@eartheaglebrewings.com

But the rumors are confirmed. For this summer only (unless they get so much business they have to stay?) Earth Eagle Brewings will be OPEN starting May 8th, from Thursday to Sunday, starting at noon.
