Dover, New Hampshire. Lego Builder About to Compete for Global Title

Are you a fully-cooked adult but still have a soft spot in your heart for toys like Legos or K'Nex? My husband grew up to be an architect, and he largely attributes his successful career to Legos and K'nex. It all started in the playroom when he hired his two little sisters as workers (they didn't apply for this job, by the way), and barked at them to gather certain shaped blocks or specific colors for a particular project.

Big kids like my husband are filled with glee every time they visit the LEGO Discovery Center in Boston.

What is the LEGO Discovery Center in Boston all about?

It’s the home of LEGO play, where you and your family can create your own adventures in their ultimate indoor LEGO playground! There are over two million bricks in there! From interactive MINIWORLD and masterclasses with our Master Model Builders, to a 4D Cinema – your imagination will run wild. 

A local boy won massive LEGO builder title

A few months back Arlo from Dover, New Hampshire won the title of ! Congratulations Arlo! Way to make the Garrison City proud!  

Twelve-year-old Arlo described his creation as a "celestial hand emerging from the depths of our ocean". I can see it! 

The friendly competition hosted by LEGO Discovery Center brought out New England's best to complete for this prestigious title, and it was Arlo's build that stood out among dozens of submissions.

The attention now turns to an even bigger stage as Arlo will be vying for the title of first-ever Global Mini Master Model Builder!

Arlo recently un unveiled his amazing LEGO® build to compete for the global title, it is the Boston tea party on the ocean and it was revealed at LEGO® Discovery Center Boston, and will be on display for guests to see through June 30^th at the Center.

Isn't it so creative? I love it!

So what happens after June 30th?

Arlo's build will then have the amazing honor to be displayed at the one and only Home of the Brick, LEGO® House, in Billund, Denmark later this year. Arlo’s LEGO creation will be judged against other builds from Mini Master Model Builders across the globe from all twenty-seven LEGO Discovery Centers and LEGO Discovery Centers. The global winner will be announced this Fall. I haven't seen the other submissions but my money is on Arlo!
