According to TikTok, Danny Selinger, you could save up to 50% off of perishable groceries.  Employees have to mark down certain items that need to sell quickly, or they will expire and the store will not make any money from them.

They also need to clear out space to make room for the incoming inventory.

The employees, according to this video on TikTok, will mark down the items between 7a and 9am.  Most of the items will have been picked over by 12 noon, so you should get there right when the store opens up to get the best selection.
