3-Day Pickle Festival Coming to New England With Pickles, Pickle Beer, Pickle Cocktails, Pickle Merch, and More

You know the people whose whole personality is a certain food? Well, this event is for the pickle people.

People who love pickles are a different breed. These are not "I'll eat the pickle that comes on the side of a sandwich" people...they are pickles in cocktails, fried pickles for appetizers, pickle juice at home because they love pickles, people!

And again...this event is for those people. Because who else would want pickle cotton candy?

The Ultimate Pickle Experience: Pickle Festival, Connecticut

The Ultimate Pickle Experience is a three-day festival at the Mohegan Sun Expo Center. And this thing looks EPIC.

The Ultimate Pickle Experience is scheduled for July 25 (4 PM - 9 PM), July 26 (11 AM - 9 PM), and July 27 (11 AM - 8 PM). Three days jam-packed with...pickles.

Obviously, there will be pickled food. The obvious friend pickles, but also wacky creations like pickle pizza, pickle ice cream, and pickle cotton candy. But it is not just food. There will be pickle cocktails, pickle beer, and, according to one Instagram video, over 200 pickle options at this pickle festival.

Contests at the Connecticut Pickle Festival

A festival is not complete without some kind of eating challenge. After all that pickle sampling, you will need something to entertain you as you digest.

There are three contests on the CT Pickle Festival website as of now: the pickle eating contest (eating as many pickles as you can in a set time frame), the pickle juice challenge (where contestants will drink s "significant" amount of pickle juice in a race), and the homemade pickle contest.
