Opening a restaurant is always risky. According to a Bin Wise article, 60% of restaurants fail within the first year, and 80% fail within the first five years.

But that does not account for the type of food and location...

That is why Hampton, New Hampshire, and the entire Seacoast have high hopes for the new surf-style restaurant opening next week in Hampton.

Point Break, New Restaurant, Hampton, NH

According to the Point Break website, the newest seafood joint on the seacoast will have a laid-back atmosphere.

The inside will be approachable. The menu draws from New England beach towns and the "ocean's bounty."

But there is more than just shrimp, haddock, lobster, and seafood at Point Break. They also offer pizzas, steak frites, burgers, and more. Check out their menu here.

Point Break is replacing the Tideside Social Club, which served farm-to-table food at the same location for just one year.

Point Break, at 9 Ocean Blvd, in Hampton, NH, will officially open for the season May 20- can't wait to try!
