The Walmart store in Seabrook was evacuated Saturday morning due to an unknown "situation"

Seabrook Police posted on their Twitter account at 12:21 p.m. that there was a large police presence at the store on Lafayette Road (Route 1) at Seabrook Commons.

The situation was contained and there was no threat to the public, according to a tweet.

In a subsequent tweet, the situation was resolved and the store reopened after 1 p.m. The shopping center was also open. Police did not disclose details about what led to the evacuation.

Video taken outside the store during the evacuation showed several police vehicles parked in front of the store, and evacuated shoppers standing in the parking lot.

Seabrook Commons is home to several large retailers including Dick's, Ulta Beauty, and Bob's Discount Furniture.
