13-Year-Old Boy From Portsmouth Raps on ‘America’s Got Talent’
A 13-year-old boy, nicknamed Patches, from Portsmouth NH was fabulous last night on America's Got Talent! According to the video, he got his nickname by getting a patch for all of his accomplishments. He's in his school's drama club and the electronics club, just to name a couple, he has a yellow belt in martial arts and he's looking to get a patch for being on America's Got Talent and I think he's done it!
Howie Mandell, one of the judges on the show, said of his self-written rap, "You know what it's like to be a white kid on the streets of New Hampshire." haha! Howie gave Patches the first YES! That YES was followed by Mel B saying, "yes, yes, yes." Heidi Klum said, "Well, I want to hear the next song, Patches. Definite yes for me." Finally, Simon who said, ".... you've got four YESSES!!"
We would love to know more about Patches! If you know him, please email me at sarah.sullivan@townsquaremedia.com. I'd love to talk to him further about being in front of those judges and in front of all of America!
Great job!
