I bet most Granite Staters have never even heard of two of these, which is a shame.
If you spend anytime in the North Country, you probably know that these beautiful birds are truly 'feathered friends'.

If I could make an additional warning that is based on what I just learned from watching videos about these birds. Be careful with The Canada Jay! Their talons are razor sharp and can leave a nasty scratch on your hand if you're not careful.

I've never heard of anyone being injured by one, but I'd hate to have it happen to a reader of this post after I strongly encouraged them to hand feed a wild bird.
