Cast of 'Hocus Pocus' Coming to Salem, MA, This Weekend

Watch out, Witch City, it's time to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the cult classic, super fun, Halloween staple movie Hocus Pocus, with some of the cast. The crowds in Salem, Massachusetts, are already increasing, and it's time to see them go crazy for this visit. According to the Salem, MA The Witch City Facebook page, it's going to be blast, as some of the cast themselves posted their excitement.

Here's the deal. This weekend celebration is for all the kiddos, teens, and adults to come out and meet Omri Katz, Vinessa Shaw, and Thora Birch (who portrayed Max, Allison, and Dani), as well as Jason Marsden, who voiced the black cat Thackery Binx. Happy 30th anniversary to this 1993 film, which also stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. I mean, don't you watch it almost every year? It's so much fun.

Friday, October 20

According to the Mass Live website, on Friday, October 20, Omri, Vinessa, and Thora are having a Halloween party at BitBar starting at 8pm. It's an arcade bar at 278 Derby, where you can literally play air hockey against the cast, try out your skee-ball talents with them, and have fun with all of the video games and pinball machines.

Saturday, October 21

Throughout the day on Saturday, the kiddos are welcome to meet the cast, take photos, get autographs, and chit chat with them at the Salem Common, according to Mass Live. Obviously, you can dress up in your favorite Hocus Pocus attire, or whatever Halloween costume you want for both events.
