Celtics Issue Suspension Statement on Twitter

This NBA decision was made almost instantly after it was revealed that Utah Jazz Center Rudy Gobert had tested positive for COVID-19.

What makes matter more fearful for the Celtics is that they played the Jazz twice in the last two weeks. Utah beat Boston here at the TD Garden just last Friday.

Sarah was just saying this morning that skin to skin contact in basketball is much more prevalent and it seems that the league agrees 100%.

As of the time of me writing this, the NHL is supposed to release it's own statement any minute.

The Boston Bruins are scheduled to face the Sabres in Buffalo tomorrow night. I'm willing to bet that the game will not be played given the severity of the current pandemic.
