The Boston Celtics beat the Atlanta Hawks with a last second shot by Evan Turner and then Tommy Heinsohn let out a reaction for the ages.

The Celtics are no longer the championship contenders from only a couple years ago. Gone are the days of rooting for the Big 3, or even highlight alley-oops from Rondo to Jeff Green. The roster looks like a who's who of the NBA D-League. I even asked Jonathan on-air this morning during Shark Sports if he could name me one player on the team this year.

He couldn't.

The only thing that remains year in and year out is Tommy Heinsohn and his grade A reactions. This one is short and sweet, and it happens at the :08 second mark; as soon as Turner finishes his shot.

Heinshohn is probably the biggest homer in all of sports commentating but he knows how to bring it with his reactions; he also knows when to do them. Amateurs would spark the mic as soon as the play occurs, not Tommy. He waits until the crowd noise dies down just a bit so the broadcast can pick up his outburst. He's 80-years old by the way.
