Exceptionally Delicious New England Summer Cheese Festival Back for Its 12th Season

According to Vermont Cheese Festival, the Green Mountain State, Vermont, is at the very forefront of premium cheese production nationwide.  It has the highest number of cheesemakers per capita, so these guys have absolutely put Vermont on the map for incredible cheese worthy of a delicious, fun festival with over 100 exceptional cheeses to sample.

According to the Vermont Cheese Festival, the passion for making and partaking in locally made, artisanal cheeses means a celebration like no other in New England.  With over 40 cheesemakers, you can taste an array of cheeses along with local specialty foods and beverages, while meeting the makers themselves.

Greensboro is the place to book that getaway nestled in Northern Vermont, otherwise known as Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. Greensboro is a quaint town of around 800 residents welcoming everyone to this unique New England festival on the greens of the Highland Center for the Arts.  According to the festival website, sampling, buying, and networking happens on Sunday, August 13, making it the most lovely summer day where you can enjoy workshops or just roam and nosh and drink.

This is the 12th annual Vermont Cheesemakers Festival where they welcome with two open air tents, allowing you to explore the lovely grounds of the Highland Center for the Arts.  Bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic from one of Vermont's most beloved food trucks, and attend a tasting session pairing local cheeses with a curated lineup of beer, wine, and spirits.
