What a wild chase New Hampshire law enforcement had recently.

According to a press release, at 6:36pm last night, June 11, 2024, the Strafford County Sherriff's Office issued a "BOLO" (be on the lookout) for a driver who fled a traffic stop in Lee.  After some property damage and a chase through Epping all the way to Hooksett, the driver was apprehended via K9 unit.

23-year-old Michael J. Delucco of Cromwell, Connecticut, allegedly made many mistakes yesterday.  This list doesn't include the alleged biggest mistake: driving under the influence of drugs, second offense, and operating after suspension.

  • Mistake #1:  Caused a crash in Rochester, New Hampshire
  • Mistake #2:  Fled the scene of the crash in Rochester
  • Mistake #3:  Fled from an attempted traffic stop in Lee, New Hampshire
  • Mistake #4:  Flying down Route 125 in Epping, New Hampshire, at a high rate of speed to get away from law enforcement chasing him, driving erratically
  • Mistake #5:  Arriving at a dead end on the campus of Southern New Hampshire University in Hooksett, getting out of the car, and running into the woods.
  • Mistake #6:  Putting lives in danger

And these are just the alleged mistakes that we know of from the press release.

Many law enforcement agencies were called in to help, including Manchester, Hooksett, Candia, Auburn, Lee, Rockingham County Sheriff's Office, Hillsborough County, and the Hooksett Fire-Rescue Department.
