Did You Know the Amtrak Train Drops You Off Directly at This Popular Maine Beach?

Did you know Amtrak Downeaster has a stop that will drop you off directly in Old Orchard Beach in Maine? Talk about a helpful ride home after a long beach bar-hopping day.

Over the weekend, I took the Amtrack from Portland to get into Boston on my way to the Post Malone concert (amazing performance btw), but I noticed on the way down we made a stop in OOB.

I've never seen this before, and It's most likely because once I looked it up I found out that it's seasonal.

This stop only runs from May through October so take advantage of it while you can.

All I could think about was how many times my friends and I have ruled out going to bars like The Swick on a weekend because nobody wanted to drive that far and be a designated driver. This solves all those problems.

It's called the Old Orchard Beach Station served by Amtrak's Downeaster train, and it's located right in the middle of all the things you like to do when you're having a day down there.

Last week, I found Schooner's New Mini-Golf Course that now features a beer garden where you can bring your beer on the course (not many places allow you to do this).

Saco is wicked close to OOB, so go grab your friends, pre-game at the house, take the train to the OOB stop and Uber to play mini-golf.

You'll probably find me there this weekend, I'm not gonna lie LOL.
