Dover, NH’s Shark in the Park Final Concert of 2026 With Iconic Band, ‘Rosie’

It's always bittersweet to have Shark in the Park come to an end every Summer.  Especially this year, being the 25th anniversary celebration of these concerts.  All free to the public, all local bands.

Rosie Will Rock the Rotary Stage at Henry Law Park in Dover, NH

Here in the Seacoast of NH and Southern Maine, Rosie plays all kinds of places like Bentley's Saloon in Arundel, Maine, Train's Tavern in Lebanon, Maine, The Garage in Rochester, NH the Eastside in Rochester and so many more places.  They always pack the house.

Rosie also closes out Shark in the Park for us every year.  They used to kick off the series, but we changed that up a few years back.

Here are the members of Rosie:

• Hank Decken:  Guitar
• Al Silva:  Drums
• Tim Matthews:  Bass

Decken/Silva are like Tyler/Perry.  They have been together for decades, since 1978 or 1979.  Do the math. Either way you slice it, it's damn near 50 years that these two have been together.  They are brothers.

The band has had commercial success with record deals and on MTV back in the days of big hair, wild costumes and wild women.  (That last bit is an assumption on my part... Rock and Roll!)

Al and Hank told me about the 1987 NH Music Awards that were held in Manchester.  It was the one and only event.  Rosie won three awards that year:

• Best Band
• Best Song
• Best Songwriter

Al Silva is known for Silva graphics out of Greenland.  He creates and prints the Rosie t-shirts every year.  He can also help you with any of your printing needs.  His clients include Sig Sauer, Darcy Creative, Foss Motors, Subway,

Hank Decken owns D'Vision Custom Cycle Fab in Dover, NH.  They build motorcycles and I've heard that Hank is the only one that some bikers trust with their bike.
