Drink Beer, Eat Food, Listen to Live Music and Support Kingston, NH Firefighters

Members of the Kingston Volunteer Fire Association are hoping hundreds of people will show up to help support their department's mission when they hold their second annual Beerfest on Sept. 25.

Tickets are on sale online now and are $35 for full access to the beer tasting. Designated driver tickets are $5.

Nobody under the age of 21 and no pets are allowed to the event, which will take place from 12 to 4 p.m. at 148 Main Street.

"That's the address to the fire department, which is right on the plains, where the Brewfest is being held," organizational committee member Nathan McDonald said.

In addition to beverages from 20 local breweries, participants can try items from local food trucks. Firefighters will also be cooking hot dogs and sausages for the event.

SecondHand Band will be playing throughout the event. They are a four-piece cover band with a catalog of songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and today, according to their Facebook page.

McDonald said they have already sold 150 tickets and are hoping to sell many more over the course of the next 10 days.

Tickets sold on the day of the event go up to $45, he said.

McDonald said they are happy to be able to hold the Beerfest this fall. It was canceled last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and he said people are still looking for fun things to do outside.

This Beerfest will be held rain or shine and all sales are final so there will be no refunds, according to the event website.
