Drive by Witness with Close Up Footage of Bellagio Casino Fire

One of the main stories from my entertainment segment was a report of a fire early this morning at The Bellagio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Since I love this place, I needed to scour the internet for witness video to determine the location and found quite a close up indeed!

Thanks to this jaw dropping YouTube video from Scarlett O'Malley I'm pretty sure I have pinpointed the location of the blaze on the map below.

Several news reports are claiming the fire was located in the luxury shops area but it looks to me that the central portion of the blaze took place in the Italian restaurant which is called 'Lago' (this map has its prior name 'Circo').

Locations of shops, bars and restaurants change all the time in Las Vegas so I may be mistaken.

Ironically, the famous Bellagio fountains were a bit of an impediment to fire fighters in gaining access to the inferno.

Thankfully the local fire department had the blaze under control in about an hour and at the time of this post, there were no injuries reported.
