Electric Chopsticks Invented By University Of Maine Researcher Add Flavor To Food
If you have a pair of these chopsticks, you won't need to buy this particular condiment anymore. We're talking about salt.
An assistant professor at the University Of Maine has created chopsticks that deliver an electric pulse to a person's tongue, according to IEEE Spectrum. This shock to the mouth supposedly enhances the flavor of food without adding salt. And by changing the frequency, foods could be made to taste salty, sour or bitter. The news report says the chopsticks could even be made into a fork.
