Extremely Rare and Colorful Bird Sighting in New England

This multi-colored male has been seen quite often around Pittsfield, VT very recently. Around Christmas last year, there was a slightly less confirmed sighting in Western Maine that I had initially dismissed. Now, I'm starting to think that sighting was genuine.

Since NH is right in the middle of these two sightings, we Granite Staters need to keep our eyes peeled for this extremely rare ornithological occurrence.

So, just remember, if one of your Easter eggs starts flying around your backyard this weekend, it very well could be a Painted Bunting.
