One of my bosses who lives in Chicago follows a television and film director out of Florida who goes by TizzyEnt. Recently, TizzyEnt posted a video asking all of us to take an extra close look at the vandal in the unique Maine sweatshirt.
Powerful stuff, and straight to the point as law enforcement officials in Portsmouth and beyond continue to ask for our help to ID this vandal. I feel like that's a very recognizable Maine sweatshirt, too. It was also called out by the national civil rights organization, CAIR.
According to the Portsmouth NH Police Department Facebook page, a press release from the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office says this vandal used red spray paint to deface buildings in the area of Deer Street, Middle Street, Court Street, and Marcy Street around 2:30in the morning on Tuesday, February 21.
This graffiti consists of hate symbols to include swastikas and what appears to be intentional targeting of houses of worship and political messages. The Portsmouth Police Department takes hate motivated crimes very seriously and is actively engaged in the investigation of this incident.

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella says federal and state authorities are assisting the Portsmouth Police.
This type of hateful and threatening criminal activity, motivated by racial or religious intolerance, particularly at places of worship, has no place in New Hampshire and will not be tolerated. Our communities are safer and stronger when we all join together and have zero tolerance for violence motivated by hatred for our fellow citizens whether based on race, creed, or other protected characteristics.
And thank you TizzyEnt for helping spread intolerance for hate crimes like this.
