The casino is open again after shutting its doors voluntarily due to growing concerns about COVID-19 on March 16, 2020. The Oxford Casino received approval to reopen from local, State, and regulatory authorities, according to a press release sent to us by its management. Many safety protocols are in place. Vice-President and General Manager Jack Sours said:

Cleanliness and safety have always made up the foundation of our culture, and are of the utmost importance - now more than ever. All of our reopening team has undergone testing for COVID-19 to ensure as safe of an environment as possible.

Some areas will remain closed, such as the hotel, event center, restaurants, and table games. They will reopen later on, as per the press release.

Some other changes include occupancy: Only 200 guests will be allowed inside. There will also be mandatory temperature checks for guests and employees. Masks or facial coverings must be worn by all at all times.
