If you could do anything in the world, what would it be?

Travel to Italy? Go skydiving? See snow for the first time?

For Jackson in Buxton, his dream was to be a penguin handler.

The 5-year-old has spent his life battling leukemia and has used his love for penguins to bring him a feeling of safety and comfort through years of treatment, Fox23 Maine shared in an article earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Jackson rode in style to the Maine Mall in a limousine to have his dreams come true. Thanks to the Maine Make-A-Wish foundation, the young boy went from having dozens of penguin stuffed animals to being surrounded by dozens of real live penguins at a Connecticut aquarium this very Wednesday morning.

His family shared with the station that Jackson loves to play with his penguin stuffed animals, watch penguin movies, and read penguin books, so he knows a LOT about these little birds.

They were filled with gratitude as they shared that Make-A-Wish has been sending him packages almost every month filled with penguin goodies, coloring books, holiday and birthday presents.

But the best present of all? Becoming a real penguin handler.

As WMTW News 8 shared, when Jackson got to the mall on Tuesday, he was given a uniform and name tag to see and train penguins in person at an aquarium in Connecticut. His mom was elated to say that they would be having a party with the Make-A-Wish location in Connecticut, spending the day at the aquarium, and taking a Polar Express ride.

This is one very special, action-packed week for Jackson! And we could not be more excited for him.

You deserve all the happiness, love, and penguins in the world, Jackson!

Thank you to the Make-A-Wish organization for letting dreams like this come true.
