Guess That NH Lake!

Most of my lake photos are from Great East Lake, but I was lucky enough to visit this beauty during the 4th. Another hint? It's not Winnipesaukee either.

Merrymeeting Lake

With over twelve hundred acres of surface area, this New Durham treasure was an ideal location for a family party yesterday

The view in the picture above is looking south from 'Meader's Point'.

And this view is more towards the north, just a few steps away from the previous angle.

It's maximum depth is an impressive 120 feet. Every dock that I've ever seen on Merrymeeting offers plenty of depth for those that enjoy trick diving or the ever popular cannonball.

The fishing is impressive as well as it offers small mouth bass, chain pickerel, landlocked salmon, rainbow trout and horned pout just to name a few varieties.

So if you're looking for the perfect summer vaca spot, I'd check out rentals here before they're all filled up through Labor Day!
