Here Are Some of our Beloved Deerfield Fair’s Wonderful Attractions
Exciting news! The Deerfield Fair is coming back this year! According to Deerfieldfair.com, the fair will be open once again on Thursday, September 30, and run through Sunday, October 3, 2021. Tickets to on sale early on July 1, 2021.
The Deerfield Fair, the oldest in New England, has run for 144 years, so it is steeped in tradition. In a world full of change, that is refreshing!
Before I get to the wonderful attractions at the fair, here's some things you need to know.
What are the hours of the Fair?
The fair opens on Thursday, September 30th at 8am and runs until 10:00pm. Those hours stay the same on Friday October 1 and Saturday, October 2. On Sunday, October 3, the hours are from 8:00am to 7pm.
When Can I Buy Tickets for the Fair?
Advance tickets can be purchased online starting on July 1, 2021. Then, starting in August, you can buy tickets IN PERSON (so excited about actually doing something in person....) at many area businesses including Candia First Stoppe, Radio Grove Hardware in Raymond, Osborne's Agway, Mike's Meat Shoppe, Deerfield Vet Clinic and many other places. If you buy your tickets in July online, you'll pay only $8.00. If you wait and buy them at the gate, they'll cost you $12.00.
Does My Ticket Include the Rides?
No. Special bracelets will be sold for $30 - $35.00 or single tickets for $1.25.
Do I Have To Pay for Parking?
No. Parking is free. BUT, if you want VIP parking to get in and out easily, that'll cost you $5.00.
Can I Bring My RV and Camp at the Fair?
Yes, you can. Camping is $30.00 per night with hook-up or $20.00 per night for dry camping.
