Have you figured out the reason I've watched this video repeatedly today? The answer is pretty easy if you're a member of Shark Nation and a fan of live music.

I tend to freak out a bit when things are different than what I'm used to. Needless to say this year has been quite an adjustment.

For the first time since I've been at The Shark, (and I've been here for 18 years this October) The Shark In The Park Concert Series will not happen this year.

This has been news for quite some time of course, but I'm getting all weird and melancholy today, because TONIGHT would have been SHOW #1.

I love this 2015 footage from 'Dave In NH' because it helps me put things in perspective. The first three SITP shows that I was part of here, were all held on the stage that abuts the river. This video spends a great deal of time from that viewpoint.

Also you can see how much things have changed just from 2015, the playground pool has improved tremendously and if you look close, there wasn't a Christmas tree!

Change is a part of everything, the show used to be on Thursdays in the broiling heat of 11AM-1PM. Now, it's on Wednesday evenings at a time where more people can enjoy it, not only because of the hours, but because the Rotary Arts Pavilion is such a great facility for viewing and acoustics too.

The important thing to realize is that this is temporary and Shark In The Park WILL BE BACK BETTER THAN EVER!
