Bad news for Tri-State area people in need of car repair, as many of our local States rank among the very highest in auto repair costs, EXCEPT for one.

According to repairpal.com, Maine is one of the cheapest States in the US to have your car repaired as VACATIONLAND is ranked as the sixth most cost effective State in which to have mechanical services rendered.

As far as New Hampshire and Massachusetts are concerned, Yikes. Granite Staters live in the Sixth most expensive State and Massachusetts residents are ironically just north of NH motorists ranked at 5th overall.

This is a pretty cool website as it estimates the proper cost of repairs depending upon many factors as well as your geographic location. As for me, the next time I'm broken down I think I may push my ride north to the land of Lobstah!
