Is NH Turning Into a Rainforest This Summer?
It's a nice problem to have, especially for anyone with a garden. But you won't believe how two months of heat and frequent rainfall has changed the area of this photo taken in May.
Then (Above May 18th)
Now (July 27th)
These are snapshots of the small bridge that crosses Punch Brook in Gonic. Usually around this time of year we get hit with a few weeks of drought and I'll begin my crude method of irrigation with a series of buckets, watering cans and a golf cart.
Not only is there absolutely no reason to irrigate, there is virtually no access due to the over growth.
I'd need a machete and a small team of domesticated capybara to even see the brook, let alone jump beside it to fill up 5 gallon buckets.
Have you noticed an overwhelming amount of overgrowth around your property as well?
