It’s National Empanada Day! (It’s A Deep Fried Meat Pie)

A weekend TV schedule filled with baseball, golf, basketball and hockey should be the PERFECT time to enjoy a spicy deep fried pie filled with meat!

I really like the no nonsense approach of this recipe from 'For Us Foodies' and I think I just might try to talk someone into making this dish at some point today.

(Whenever I try deep frying anything by myself, emergency personnel always seem to be involved.)
