How excited do you get when you see a grand opening sign or come across a social media post announcing the debut of a brand new restaurant?

Another batch of fresh eateries opened their doors in Maine in November, including some spots serving up Asian food, Thai food, Texas BBQ, and more.

Seems like the best way to get out of the bitter cold of winter is to fill your hungry stomach at one of these places. Who wants to go?

New Hampshire Restaurants Open in November 2025

If you're looking for some Texas flavor, North Star Cantina might be where you want to go.

This Wells restaurant opened on November 7, and according to its website, it is a place where "you can sit back, sip a craft cocktail, and enjoy Texas-style brisket, pulled pork, and turkey breast—all slow-smoked to perfection."

The new eatery also calls out its cocktails, tacos, and "signature waffle-stack piled high with smoked meat and mac-n-cheese." So there are certainly options when it comes to this place.

Or maybe you're looking to indulge in some Asian cuisine like Asian House Kitchen & Bar in South Portland.

According to the Portland Press Herald, this new venture comes from the owners of Asian House in Old Orchard Beach and will feature "different Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes from their takeout restaurant in Old Orchard Beach, as well as a variety of poke bowls.

It's already getting some rave reviews, too, like this one on Google: "The place has a cozy vibe, comfy seating, and relaxing music. Their menu has a great variety, and I was excited to see kimchi fried rice, which you don’t find often around here. I ordered it, and it was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!"
