Here’s 7 Bars and Restaurants Open on Easter Sunday in Portland, Maine

Easter in my house is one of those holidays we celebrate for sure, but we're just not that serious about plans for that day.

Truthfully my favorite tradition with my dad on Easter is barhopping different dive-bars that are selectively open and hiding our level of intoxication from my mother.

This place tastes exactly like it sounds, delicious. If you've ever been to this little bar, it's absolutely delicious. Actually, I've named them as my top pick for the best fench fries in the city because they're like a fancier version of McDonald's.

Scales Restaurant Portland

An absolute staple in my life. I actually think in the last 9 years of me going to Scales for dinner I've never ordered anything other than the scallops because they hit every time.

Three Dollar Dewey's

I might be a bit biased because I used to bartend here, but Dewey's is even better on holidays. Chef Emma creates her own creative, exclusive menu. Easter I'm sure will be no different!

Saltwater Grill South Portland

This one's in South Portland and is absolutely delicious.

Every year for my birthday my friends and I sit out on the deck for dinner and trust me when I say this, they will go above and beyond to make you feel special.

Fore Street Portland

Locally sourced is always a fan favorite in Portland. This place is the perfect amount of fancy but also casual.

Bayside American Cafe

Favorite brunch spot of all time. The moment you walk in you'll feel like you're in your living room you grew up in. The aesthetic is like going out to dinner in your own house and it's incredible.

The Thirsty Pig

They sell fancy hot dogs and they're incredible. Nobody else sells fancy hotdogs the way that the Thirsty Pig can plus the owners are absolutely incredible.
