Have You Hiked the ‘Winnie The Pooh Trail’ in New Hampshire?

If you are a Winnie the Pooh fan or a family with adventurous kids, this is an awesome hike to explore a New Hampshire conservation area with fun, interactive tributes to the iconic book.

Seriously, this hike is making me want to make a mini-me. Okay, too far, but it is bringing me a lot of nostalgia.

The tributes to Winnie the Pooh start off right at the trailhead with the "Pooh Trail."

Immediately, adults are taken back to their youth, and kids feel enchanted in the magical forest.

The trail takes you on an experiential nature walk through the Goodwill Conservation Area in Barrington, New Hampshire.

Along the trail, you just may see Christopher Robin's House.

He is not always home, but that does not mean you won't find other magical twists on this trail that is less than a mile long, according to an Only in Your State article.

Side note, if a one-mile nature walk is not enough for you and your adventurous family, there are plenty more trails in the Goodwill Conservation area.

Back to the Pooh Trail. Continue walking along the trail. and you will find Rabbit's House:

I do not want to give too many spoilers about the trail, as you have to walk this magical land with your kiddos to experience the full feel.

And adults will get the nostalgic feeling right away.

If Pooh and Rabbit didn't do it for you, Piglet's house put me right back into my youth reading the books, watching the shows, and even holding my own little Pooh bear.

"To get to the trails from the parking area you must cross the bridge over the spillway in the dam that forms Richardson Pond," according to the Goodwill website. "A short ways past the bridge, the Pooh Trail goes to the right, and the Goodwill Trail to the left."

Dogs are permitted, but must be on leash.
