On Friday, Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover celebrated the 100th birthday of their oldest patient to receive daily treatments at its cancer center.

John Robinson of Durham comes in daily to the Mass General Cancer Center at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital for treatments for radiation treatments in his second fight against cancer. His 33 treatments began in mid-March and Robinson arrived every time full of cheer, optimism, and joy that was an inspiration to the hospital staff.

Friday was a bit different, as the staff teamed up with Amy’s Treat to fill the hallway with balloons and streamers, and gathered to sing Happy Birthday and serve up cake. He was also given a $100 Amazon gift card to help with his hobby of creating intricate origami animals.
