Yet Another Earthquake Rumbles New Hampshire

An earthquake has shaken New Hampshire for the second time in two weeks in the same area.

The United States Geological Survey said a magnitude 2.0 earthquake was centered in Loudon off Old Shaker Road around 2:50 p.m. It's not far from where a magnitude 2.7 earthquake was centered across from the Steeplegate Mall in Concord on December 23.

A magnitude 2.3 earthquake was centered 33 miles east of Rockport, Massachusetts, on December 27. Earthquakes between magnitude 1.4 and 3.9 on the Richter scale are considered light with no damage, according to the USGS.

Reports about Wednesday's earthquake came from the Concord area, including Bow, Canterbury, and Concord.

It has been an active two days for earthquakes with a magnitude 2.3 earthquake west of Rockville, Maryland, and a magnitude 1.7 earthquake centered in the borough of Queens in New York City, according to the USGS.
