January 27th, 1986 Misremembered; Michael Jackson’s Fire Accident was in ’84
I had never seen the actual footage of Michael Jackson's hair burning until just a couple minutes ago. It is not for the faint of heart.
It wasn't until this morning that I realized Michael Jackson's pyrotechnic accident happened on this date in 1984 and NOT 1986. This has completely dismantled my attempt at a look back at 3 days in 1986, but I shall continue tomorrow.
For the past thirty years I could have sworn this major entertainment news story occurred, not just one year later than it did, but TWO years later? Isn't it amazing how the mind dysfunctions?
