The New Hampshire Fish and Game Department's Let's Go Fishing Program is offering free ice fishing classes this winter. They are free unless otherwise noted and are open to everyone.

Those 16 and under must be with an adult. Most courses are only one day. According to Newhampshire.com, all classes include a hands-on indoor session where you focus on equipment, safety and winter ecology of lakes and ponds. Then you head out to a local lake or pond and try out what you have learned.
