Oh What Fun It is to Play at LEGO Discovery Land in Massachusetts for the Holidays
Tis the season to head to Somerville, just minutes from Boston, for a new tradition to add to your holiday family fun. According to a media release from LEGO, they're celebrating the Christmas season LEGO-style through December 31.
There's an adult night as well for building merry memories. I'll have more on that in a bit.
LEGO Discovery Center has its Bricktacular event going on, with giant LEGO creations that are picture-perfect for family photos. Boston's favorite places are created out of LEGO bricks, transforming idyllic and popular locations into a magical LEGO world that will bring out the child in anyone.
When you enter the Bricktacular holiday season at LEGO Discovery Center, you will enter a mini-world of breathtaking creations of Boston itself. Now there may not be snow on the ground yet in our real world, but this mini-world is truly a winter wonderland making Christmas feel, well, 'Christmasy'.
You and your kids can also take selfies with a jolly LEGO gingerbread man or Santa's life-sized sleigh.
You can even get in on the cheerful family fun of building ornaments out of LEGO Dots to hang on your tree or give as gifts. There are holiday-themed workshop classes with LEGO master model builders as well, so you can hone your skills or witness the pure talent that it takes to build these masterpieces.
Oh, and are you ready for LEGO's version of Elf on the Shelf? You and your kids can hunt for the 12 missing LEGO elves hidden in this holiday mini-world made of LEGO bricks.
