This microphone needs you!

If you love to sing and you are looking for a group of fun, slightly insane (their words), then you might want to consider joining, "MixTape."

Courtney Donovan shared a post on Facebook calling for people of all voice parts to audition.

What Do I Do If I Want To Audition?

Easy-peasy.  Just click here and fill out the form.  Don't worry if you can't read music or if you don't know what part you sing.  If you think you can sing, then take this first step!

Do I Have To Know How To Read Music?

No, you don't, so says the form you have to fill out.  Reading music can be tricky, but if you have a good ear, you may be able to learn the music that way.  You would be surprised how many famous musicians don't know how to read music.

What If I Don't Know My Vocal Range?

That's okay too!  (Gee, they sound like a nice group, don't they?)  If you don't know, they will tell you.

What Does MixTape Sound Like?

You can check them out for yourself here.  Mind you, this is just a small, small bit of what they sound like.

In 2020, when everyone was in quarantine, the world discovered Nathan Evans.  A 26-year-old man who sang sea-shanties on TikTok.  The song he became famous for was an acapella tune called Wellerman.  Without knowing what MixTape has in store for 2021, I'm pretty sure it'll include a version of this song.  Check it out here:

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
