Maine’s Julia Gagnon ‘American Idol’ Watch Party This Weekend in South Berwick
Julia Gagnon is Now Top 10 on American Idol
We could not be more excited about American Idol contestant, Julia Gagnon. Julia is from Cumberland, Maine, but her grandmother, aunt, and uncle are in South Berwick.
This Sunday, April 28, there is a watch party at the Links Outlook Tavern. American Idol doesn't start until 8pm. However, you can come early, have dinner, and most importantly, vote for Julia.
Last weekend, they had a watch party there, and it was crowded, so you should definitely make reservations by calling 207-384-1004.
I was able to talk to a friend of the family, Michelle Richards, who grew up with Julia's Dad, Jim, pictured here with Julia's Grandmother, Cynthia, in the middle.
It is going to be a great time this Sunday. Michelle and her daughter have created a special drink menu based on where Julia auditioned, the songs that she has sung, and other places she's been.
This is the big poster that hangs on the P. Gagnon & Sons building at 215 Main Street in South Berwick, Maine. How sweet! Her Aunt Sandy Gagnon and her uncle Mark Gagnon made that for her.
Michelle told me via phone that she plans to have laptops set up on Sunday night at the Outlook Tavern so that people can vote.
Julia has a lot of support, but she needs more to make it to the Top 7! This is a great shot of her Uncle Mark, her Dad's best friend Pete, Her Dad Jim, her Grandmother Cynthia, Her Cousin Aren and her Aunt Allison.
If you don't know about Julia and her story, be prepared to fall in love.
All the best to you, Julia! Your hometown is cheering you on, and let's hope you make the Top 7!
Remember, the watch party is this Sunday at the Outlook Tavern in South Berwick, Maine. Let's make this Maine idol the American Idol!
