Meet the Winner of the Shark’s Pet Costume Contest 2025

There were so many great entries for the Shark's Pet Costume Contest, 2025.  You can scroll down to see all of them. They are all super cute!  Alas, there can be but one winner.

Pets from all over the Seacoast entered their pets to try and win the $250 Visa Gift Card. That would buy a lot of pet food or pet toys, or whatever your four legged family member desires.

The Pet industry has exploded since the days that I had dogs and cats.  I remember when we had only one type of wet dog food.  I had a German Shepard and the dog food that I fed her had a picture of a Shepard on the can!  I can only imagine what she was thinking.

Today, you can get super fancy dog food for your pup.  That $250 will buy a lot of milk bones!  Or, did you know that they sell probiotics now for dogs?  True statement.  You can buy vitamins, doggie cookies, healthy chews for good skin care, pretty much anything that humans have for their bodies, you can get for your pet.  They are part of the family, after all.
