The Boston Red Sox are headed back to the World Series for the first time since winning the title in 2013. And a few of Boston's finest will be at Fenway Park tomorrow night to cheer on the Sox for Game 1 against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Ten Boston fire fighters can thank MMA fighter Connor McGregor for the tickets. According to NESN, the UFC superstar was in Boston on Friday, and dropped by a Back bay fire station just to say thanks.

While he was there he handed out 10 tickets to Tuesday night's game. He also took the opportunity to pass along some of his own Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey.

TMZ is reporting that Proper No. Twelve will donate $5 to first responders for every case of whiskey they sell. And Boston 25 News says before he left, McGregor opened a bottle and drank a toast to the Red Sox winning a title.

I'm not a big fan of MMA. And I've never seen Connor McGregor fight. But I am a fan of first responders. And I have seen them fight fires. And I'm a huge Boston Red Sox fan...so I have to give props to McGregor for recognizing them for all they do. Heck, I may even buy a bottle of Proper No. 12 now.
