Is Canobie Lake Park Even Opening in 2021?

YES, Canobie Lake Park is opening for the season in 2021. On Memorial Day weekend, to be precise. According to their website, canobie.com;

Our schedule will generally be: Weekends from Memorial Day thru late-June, Wednesdays thru Sundays from late-June thru Labor Day, and then Weekends through Halloween. Our spring and summer hours will generally be 10:30am-6:00pm.

Canobie Lake Park Has Been There for Decades

I'm not sure if you remember, but I have written about my love of Canobie Lake Park before. When I was a kid living in Hollis, NH, my family would make a yearly pilgrimage to Canobie Lake Park in Salem, NH. We're talkin', the '70's. Back in those days, you could bring your own food in to the park, so my Mother would pack a huge picnic and we all would cram in to the big brown station wagon. I would sit in the way, way back. (That was a thing, the "way way back." Ask your parents.)

Canobie Lake Park is a Very Special Place

Canobie has always been very special to me because my Mom AND Dad were both there. My Dad died when I was very young and this is one of the memories that stays with me. He had to physically remove me from the Carousel. I just loved that thing.
