New England Patriots Replace 3 Month Old Turf

You can never accuse our beloved New England Patriots of 'letting the grass grow under their feet'. The nearly brand new turf they played on during Thursday night's loss? Gone already!

Mike Reiss of ESPN is reporting that the 'FieldTurf' surface that was installed in May, has now been replaced after being deemed 'too soft' by both team players and Patriots management.

This isn't anything new for the Pats. I remember them replacing their turf right after a muddy and sloppy game against The NY Jets in 2006. I just checked Wikipedia and discovered that after that turf change, they didn't lose at home for almost TWO YEARS!

Here's hoping that history repeats itself!
