This historical tour of New Hampshire in the 1950s is a great way to remember the ways things were, and also learn how the Granite State came to be.

The video begins on the seacoast at the "rugged stretch of New Hampshire coast known as Odiorne's Point." We're only 1:22 into it and I already learned something. To me, this beautiful seacoast destination is simply Odiorne Point State Park, would never have guessed it to be possessive.

The publisher of the video, Travel Film Archive, has quite the following and an impressive library of historical videos. It's a nice treat to travel back in time and remember how things used to be.
