Could this be the beginning of a band or singer's big break? That moment they've been waiting for?  You don't know unless you try. If you or anyone you know is a singer or musician who would love to compete for incredible prizes, then here's the deal.

It's called Seabrook Idol. Maybe you've heard of it, as it's entering its third season.

According to Francoix Simard, who handles entertainment at Red's Kitchen & Tavern in Seabrook, New Hampshire, this year's prize pack is even bigger in its exposure.

Here's what the winner of the 2024 Seabrook Idol gets:

  • $1000
  • Professional video recording
  • Performance at the Boston St. Patrick's Day Parade 2024
  • Guest on an entire episode of the podcast Musicians & Beyond
  • Chat and Perform on WBZ Boston NewsRadio
  • 4 gigs at Red's Kitchen and Tavern in Seabrook
  • A photo shoot with the New England Patriot's official photographer

And the judges know their music, so you're in good, professional, legit hands. There are seven of them, including Pat Badger from the band Extreme, Tina Turner and Van Morrison's keyboard player John Savannah, and the former manager for Aerosmith and Jason Mraz, Frank Cimler.

To enter, all you have to do is submit a video performance. It can be of an original or cover song (whatever you want, according to Francoix), but make sure your submission is in by December 15. Simply email it to redsseabrookidol@gmail.com, where 18 artists will be chosen to compete.

Seabrook Idol will take place on the stage of Red's Kitchen and Tavern at 530 Lafayette Road in Seabrook, New Hampshire, every Tuesday in January from the 2nd to the 30th.
