This is one of those bills that everyone in New Hampshire can get behind.

According to the Union Leader, the New Hampshire Senate has passed a "revenge porn" bill that will protect victims of this disgusting act.

For those that don't know, revenge porn is when somebody maliciously spreads sexual images of a person without their consent. One of the worst things you can do to somebody and a slimy way of getting back at someone.

Sen. Shelia Carson, R-Londonderry, said that the law will make it easier to crack down on this horrible trend.

"This legislation helps New Hampshire crack down on revenge porn, providing law enforcement the ability to press charges, and limiting the improper distribution of private images altogether."

Anyone who violates the law would be facing a class B felony. It is about time our state joins others across the nation in protecting victims of revenge porn.
