NH Bird That Predicts Spring? The Cedar Waxwing

Sure we just got hit with a half foot of snow, I'd much rather focus on a natural indication that springtime is just around the corner. Cedar Waxwings chowing down!

A flock of cedar waxwings brunching on a crab apple tree. My requests for them to clean up mine 4 houses down were unanswered. I'll be patient

Literally, this industrious avian clean up crew was just around the corner.

I have two trees that are similar to this one and I'm still waiting for these guys to find it.I swear the trees look so much healthier and grow so much better when their fruit is stripped clean by waxwings.

Sure, you will see a few robins snack a bit here and there but nothing gets the job done as quickly and thoroughly as a flock of hungry Cedar Waxwings.
