Isn't it too cold in Maine to go bird watching? Not if you have the right kind of bus!

Mark your calendars Bird Watching Beer Fans, Sunday, December 11th is the next date for the 6 hour excursion of The Maine Brew Bus and their 'Birds On Tap' road trip!

Leaving from Portland at 9:30am, the trip will include visits to New Gloucester, Durham, Lake Auburn and perhaps North Yarmouth and/or Cumberland as well. The trip locations are dependent upon the best birding locales upon that particular day.

For a $65 ticket, a small lunch will be provided alongside several locally produced delicious brews and ciders. There are only 13 spaces available for the bus tour.

If a group of a dozen or so people sipping craft beers on a bird bus isn't quite your style, you can always set up a GoPro on your bird feeder and watch the action in the comfort of your own home. The Blue Jay fight (at 2:50) at Jody Hartman's feeder is better than many of yesterday's NFL games!
