Bidding started at $25,000, but someone ended up snagging one of the footballs used in the Pats AFC Championship Game victory over the Colts for $43,740.

The 'Deflategate' football was auctioned off by Lelands.com for Laura Anthony. Pats receiver Brandon LaFell gave it to her after a touchdown.

This is the only ball from that game owned by the public and it fetched one of the highest prices ever for a football. Only five bids were needed to get the winning price.
